500g lean minced lamb
small onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, finely diced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
½ tsp chilli powder or paprika
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon cumin
1 wholemeal pitta bread
100ml milk or dairy-free milk
1. Break the pitta bread into small pieces and soak in the milk in the bowl for a few minutes until all of the milk has been absorbed.
2. combine the bread mixture with the lamb, herbs and spices in a large bowl and season with pepper. Form into small patties and grill under a medium heat for around 10-12 minutes, until cooked through.
3. Serve with tzatziki, wholemeal pitta bread and salad.
