Sleep apnoea

Did you know that lack of good quality sleep can have a strong negative affect on yourhealth? This is particularly apparent if you have a sleep disorder called Sleep Apnoea which is characterized by abnormal pauses in breathing or instances of abnormally low breathing, during sleep.

It has been found that over a 14-year period, the risk of death for those with Sleep Apnoea was higher than those without this disorder. Adults over 18 years of ago need 7.5 – 9 hours of sleep to function properly and retain energy through the day.
