Sweaty benefits

Although stigmatized in current society, it has been found that sweat stamps out skin bacteria. German researchers discovered that sweat glands constantly secrete a protein which acts as a natural antibiotic, killing off bacterial infections and the yeast Candida Albicans.

As a result of this, excessive washing or the use of medicated deodorants could prevent the skin’s natural shield against disease causing micro-organisms.
