What better way to get fit and help a cause close to your heart than to sign up for a sporting event? If you’re not a runner and the thought of getting in a wetsuit fills you with fear, there are tons of other options. It could be a Zumbathon, a sponsored walk, or for the more daring, a sponsored abseil. 

Signing up for a challenge is a great way to motivate yourself to stick to a training schedule and give yourself an attainable goal to work towards. If you’re nervous about signing up for something alone, rope in a friend – and then you’ll have a training buddy too!
